Wise Wish Marine Engineering Training Centre (WWME)

This training centre gained DMA approval in 2013 to deliver STCW courses leading to Class I (MEO), Class II (MEO) & Class III (MEO) Certificates of Competency, High Voltage Course (Marine Engineer Management & Operation Level) and High Voltage Course (Electrical Engineer).

The Centre has in place a QS to ISO 9001:2008 standards certified by BV and accredited UKAS.

Training facilities:

  • Electro-hydraulic workshop room;
  • Electro-pneumatic practical workshop;
  • Refrigeration System training shop;
  • Electrical workshop fitted out for High Voltage Training;
  • Workshop fitted with bench fitting together with various engineering tools and equipment;
  • Videotel training videos;
  • E-Library and technical library.

Myanmar Marine Engineers’ Association Training Centre

This training centre started its first course in 2014 on receipt of approval by DMA.

The centre has in place a QS to ISO 9001: 2015 standards certified by LR.

The training centre is approved to deliver the following STCW courses:

  • CoC (MEO) – Class I, Class I & II (combined), Class III, IV and V courses;
  • Updating Courses for MEO – Class I, Class II and Class III;
  • Updating Courses for ETO;
  • High Voltage Courses for MEO Class I & Class II;
  • High Voltage Courses for MEO Class III;
  • High Voltage Courses for ETO;
  • Engine Room Resource Management and Leadership & Management/Team working skills Course for MEO;
  • Revalidating Training Course for Rating Forming Part of an Engine-room Watch;
  • Training Course for Able Seafarers (Engine).

Training Facilities and Equipment:

  • Engine Room Simulator;
  • Heavy Fitting Shop with 3 tons Electric crane,

–      Generator with different components,

–      Main Engine with different components for stripping/ fitting;

  • Steering Gear Room;
  • Auxiliary Engine Room with Purifiers, Turbochargers, Oily Water Separator;
  • Workshop with:

–      Bench fitting section,

–      Arc/gas welding section,

–      Machine shop with lathes, shaping machine, milling machine and vertical drilling machine,

  • Electrical workshop and practical training room with – radar, gyro accessories, refrigeration circuit, navigation lights, boiler control circuit, pneumatic control circuit;
  • Welding Simulator Room.

HARMOU Maritime Training Centre

This training centre was approved by DMA in 2009 for the delivery of GMDSS Radio Operator Course and STCW ancillary courses. The centre is also approved by MCA, United Kingdom Marine Administration for the delivery of GMDSS Radio Operator Course.

The centre operates within the framework of QS to ISO 9001:2008 standards, certified by NK.

Brilliance Maritime Training Centre

BMTC was approved by DMA in 2014 for the delivery of Deck CoCs and associated STCW ancillary courses. The centre operates within the frame work of a QS to ISO 9001:2008 standard, certified by ABS.

  • A fully equipped training block with mock up steel ship structure for AFF courses;
  • Training lake with davit launch lifeboat, liferafts and survival equipment for PSC & RB Courses;

Myanmar Excellent Star Training Centre (MES)

MES was approved by DMA as a training centre in 2012.

The centre has established an ISO 9001:2008 standards, certified by Class NK and working towards achieving ISO 9001:2015. The QS had been strictly followed for all operational function such as course structure, obtaining approval from DMA, training of staff, maintenance of training facilities /equipment, etc.

Uniteam Training (UT)

Uniteam Training, amalgamation of Uniteam Marine Training Centre and Uniteam Offshore Training Centre, is the largest private marine training centre offering a wide range of STCW  courses and OPITO courses for the offshore sector. The centre is approved by DMA to conduct STCW courses.

The training centre operates within the scope of a fully developed QMS based to ISO 9001:2015 standards certified by DnV-GL.

UT is approved to deliver the following STCW Courses:
